Dear
Saints:
My
how the year is rushing by! It's hard to believe, but June is
already here. School is out and you and your children have
nothing to do—right?
This
being the case, I'd like to offer you an opportunity to break the
boredom, and to spice up your family life and grow
spiritually—all at the same time. Wow! What a deal!
This
month, mark your calendar June 19-24 on your calendar to attend
Vacation Bible School at Saint Matthew—and bring a friend!
The title of this year's Vacation Bible School is "Dave and
Goliath's Circus Spectacular." I'm confident that you'll
find it to be a great time of fun, fellowship, and learning that each
of you will enjoy—from kids to old folks (and everyone in-between!).
Captive
Free youth group will be with us again this year to share the Good
News in the unique way in which only they can do through music,
skits, puppet shows, and more. And I'll be leading a class for
adults entitled "Soon and Very Soon? Exploring the Second
Coming of Christ."
There
will also be a meal on Sunday evening (June 19th at 5:30 PM) and
each evening during Vacation Bible School. So, if you like to eat.
Won't
you join us? I'll be looking forward to seeing you there
beginning Sunday, June 19th at 6:00 PM, as Captive Free kicks off our
Vacation Bible School with a spirited concert.
